A Look Back at 2015 I find A Look Back at 2015 incredibly interesting and engaging. Students will enjoy using this resource to collect information and write about a specific year. It is entertaining to reminiscence about past events from the year. This resource tells about sports achievements, events in the news, statistics concerning firefighters from the year, popular music from the year, the Jurassic World movie and statistics about this movie, tragedies from different parts of the world, and successes from the year. Students may need this information to complete assignments about the previous year or give each student a different year to research. Students could complete a graphic organizer about music, sports, tragedies and success for the year they are assigned. Students could create a powerpoint, prezi, podcast recording, video, or any other technology to share their findings. This would be an engaging and successful activity with the aid of this resource.
I can see students viewing this resource for entertainment, but I can also imagine teachers creating their own “Look Back at the Year” in their classroom, by allowing students to write about the ups and downs they faced as a classroom together throughout the year. Overall, I am glad that I found this resource and look forward to sharing it with others. Grades: 3 and up. Subject(s): All. Overall rating: 8
